My Approach
My approach
Whether I am providing training, documenting a process or assisting in the implementation of an entire Quality Management System, one thing remains unchanged: The product is produced for you and is specific to your workplace and situation.
In the case of training, the course will be designed to specifically meet your needs and the learning objectives will be discussed and approved by you before the course is written. Prior to the training, I will spend some time understanding your business and whenever possible, the training course itself will be built upon real examples and scenarios from your workplace. Not having to take abstract training and later trying to apply it to your business means that the training will be more valuable and can be used right away.
In the case of process documentation, whether it be for eventual registration of your Quality Management System to a standard or simply for consistency, I will not try to tell you how to run your business. The process documentation will be built based on the input of those who are actually in the process doing the work. Those in the process will immediately understand the documentation because it will be in the format of your choosing and be a direct reflection of the manner in which the work is done. If you choose to be audited to a standard, I will not have to be present during the audit because the employees will understand the documentation and how it relates to the standard.
